Make intelligence useful to your business.
We work with leaders to understand the operation and decide where AI belongs. Technology agnostic. Built around your business and its people.

Understand the work. Make it hold.
AI and operations are complex. We begin with your context, your people and the work before shaping an engagement. Your priorities, existing practices and readiness determine what we explore together.
The starting point is a shared understanding of how the business creates value. We look at the work people do, the information they use, the decisions they make and the responsibilities between them. That context helps us examine where AI could be useful and what would need to be in place.
Our method has four pillars: Map, Structure, Deploy and Manage.
- 01
Map
Explore how the business creates value. Identify friction, responsibilities and the work that matters. We begin with the operation and the people doing the work. A shared picture helps frame the problem before choosing a tool or proposing an application.
- 02
Structure
Define the work with your people. Clarify what humans and machines would need to follow. Inputs, actions, exceptions and decision rights need a clear definition. We discuss where that understanding lives, how people use it and who keeps it current.
- 03
Deploy
Explore where AI belongs. Agree on a use case, operating rules and measures before any build. Readiness may point to preparation, a focused investigation or a build. If implementation is agreed, its scope includes the information available, human checks and what would count as useful improvement.
- 04
Manage
Set responsibilities for review, decisions and improvement. Keep human authority clear as the work evolves. Business needs, tools and people's work change. We discuss who evaluates those changes, who guides use and who answers for the decisions.
Three situations, one method.
Help us organize how we work.
Your team needs clearer processes and ownership. You want shared ways of working that people can follow and AI could use.
Foundation addresses process, ownership and documentation needs. The aim is to define how work gets done, so everyone can follow it. Map and Structure provide the starting focus. AI work, if relevant, is scoped separately.

An operational problem has your attention. You want to understand whether AI could help, and what it would take.
Bring a recurring problem your people want solved. We look at the process, available information and readiness to decide whether AI is a useful direction. Investigation and any agreed build follow the method, with human checks and review responsibilities defined.
Explore A Process with AI 03The standing relationship The IO ProgramHelp us lead this over time.
IO is short for the Intelligence of Operations. You need experienced AI leadership to set priorities, guide delivery and support your team.
The IO Program explores an ongoing role within your operation. We discuss priorities, coordination, adoption and governance alongside your existing leadership. By invitation. An invested partner.
Explore the IO ProgramOnce intelligence is abundant, the operation is what is scarce.
We published Adapting to AGI in 2024, when most of the conversation was about what the models would be able to do. We asked a different question: what happens when that intelligence lands inside a company that was never built for it.
The question came from earlier work
In 2021, before inocta.io existed, on a research program with a university team, the models were the smaller problem. The organization around them had no written picture of how the work ran. It had no usable body of knowledge, and no clear line on who answered for what.
What that program taught us
A well-built algorithm you can run is worth more than a sophisticated one when the foundations are missing. Nearly two years after the book, that is where the market stands. Almost everyone can buy the same models, and far fewer can point them at anything useful.
What we believe
Not humans or machines. One organism. The machine brings an intelligence quotient that scales without tiring. What your people have that the machine does not, yet, is an emotional quotient. It is the judgment to know which exception matters, and where the line sits on what a machine may decide alone.
What your operation knows is yours
The map, the written processes, the data, the training, in systems you already own, in formats that open without us. If you stop, what we built keeps working. What stops is our updates to it.
