What your AI use costs, in trees.
Sourced, and honest about the range rather than confident about a number nobody can know.

Everyone uses AI. Nobody can say what it costs the planet.
A number you can defend, and the trees it would take to absorb it.
What it is
A free calculator that estimates the electricity your team's AI use consumes in data centres, and the CO₂e that electricity represents where you work. It then puts the same work done without AI beside it, and shows both as trees: what one urban tree absorbs in a year.
Who it is for
Leaders and operations teams who are asked what their AI use costs the planet, and want a number they can explain line by line. Every assumption shows its source and its confidence level.
Not for: An audited carbon report or an offset purchase. It is a directional estimate, and the tree count is a size equivalence, not an offset.
How it works
Describe your team
Enter the number of employees, how often they use AI each day, and the mix of text, image, video and code. Pick Canada or the United States as the carbon-intensity scenario.
Read the comparison
The result counts server, cooling and workstation electricity. It sets your AI use beside the same output produced by hand, so you see the difference, not only the cost.
Check the limits, then export
The report names what it leaves out: model training, hardware manufacture, water and the rebound effect. Export the results or save them as a PDF.
